About Caroline

HI!

I’m Caroline! I’m a comedian, actor, singer and writer based in Los Angeles. I studied and performed opera, musical theater and acting at Carver Center for Arts and Technology and James Madison University. Upon graduating, I studied and performed improv, musical improv and sketch comedy on House Teams with The Peoples Improv Theater in NYC (writer/actor with house sketch teams Raditude and Main Squeeze from 2017-2019 and member on improv house teams Perry and Curmudgeon from 2017-2019), The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC (completed curriculum), Magnet Theater in NYC (completed musical improv curriculum), Washington Improv Theater (performed on multiple house/weekend teams from 2015-2017), The Unified Scene Theater in DC (performed on a musical improv house/weekend team from 2015-2017) and most recently with Baltimore Improv Group (performed on a house team from 2022-2023). In 2018, I completed a Meisner acting intensive with the Terry Knickerbocker Studio in Brooklyn, NY.

In 2020, my NYC-based video sketch team, Total Smokeshow Comedy, created a narrative radio play, “It’s Always Christmas…Except Sometimes”, streaming on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Episodes are here: Spotify - "It's Always Christmas...Except Sometimes". We made a lot of comedy videos for Rizzle and TikTok that you can check out. Here’s the Rizzle: Rizzle - Total Smokeshow Comedy. One of our videos premiered in 2021’s New York Comedy Festival.

In 2022, I was cast in “Betty Blum (1937-1979)”, a beautiful play written by my great friends Zach Mason and Kristin O’Brien. It made its debut in August of 2022 in the Washington, DC area. On March 18th of 2023, we made our off-broadway debut at The Flea Theater in Tribeca!

In 2023, I made my film debut in J. Steven Madura’s “Infancy Edits.” The short film premiered at Syndicated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on January 26th, 2023.

COMING SOON!

My sketch team is currently writing and producing a web series about an Emo band reunion.
